General Impressions
Port Dover is a lovely small beach town. The town is quite small, quiet, and beautiful. It has a rich history of fishing unsurprisingly, and pottery surprisingly.
It’s about an hour drive from Hamilton. It will be a good neighborhood to raise a family.
The drive through highway 6 offers a great view to souther Ontario.
The Beach And Lighthouse
I visitied Port Dover in a big rainy day, the view of the lake and beach should be much better in any sunny days.
Port Dover Harbour Museum
Port Dover has a little cute Museum and it’s a great place to learn about the rich history of the town.
Who have thought that Port Dover also had a booming business of exporting alchoho to the U.S.(Erie, Pennsylvania). 😜
